Statistics Course

Policies and Procedures                                                                                                                         Mr. Cooper:

Welcome to Statistics! I am so excited to help guide you through this wonderful math course. The Statistics course is designed for the college bound student to learn the rules, concepts, and reasoning skills that prepare one for analysing real world data. At the completion of this course, students should be prepared to collect, describe, analyze, and make predictions based on real world statistics. We will learn through lectures, discussions, videos, projects, group work, and exploration. I believe regular communication is the key to student success, so please email me with ANY question or concern. I will always get back to you within 24 hours.

In Statistics we will be learning about: types of data, calculations with data, graphical representations of data, relationships between variables, gathering data, normal data, and probability,

Extra Help: I am ALWAYS willing to provide extra help. My office hours will be Tuesday, and Thursday until 3:30 but I am usually available every day after school until 3:00 and longer if students let me know in advance they intend to come in for tutoring.
